Responsibilities:

• Respond to U.S. office actions with the USPTO

• Conduct prior art and freedom-to-operate searches for patentability and freedom-to-operate analysis

• Draft high-quality U.S. patent applications

• Be an integral member of the team and invest in attorneys with both mentorship and professional growth

Qualifications:

• Ideal candidates will have a Biology-related PhD

• Must be eligible for USPTO admissions

• Superior academic credentials required

• Outstanding writing ability is required

• 2+ years of top law firm patent prosecution experience in a broad range of biology applications which may include molecular and cellular biology, Genetics, and/or Immunology.

Anticipated Base Salary Range

The anticipated base salary range is $142,000-180,000 per year. Actual salary will depend on several factors including but not limited to specific qualifications, job-related skills, and relevant experience.
